Troubleshooting

Before calling for service please check the following items which are not covered by your warranty.

  1. Record flashing light code.
  2. Is the power on? ie. breaker, main switch
  3. Is the bottom door of the furnace secure?
  4. Is the filter clean?
  5. Are fuses and safety switches okay? (Refer to manual)
  6. Is the thermostat set at the desired temperature?
  7. Are the gas valve(s) on?
  8. Is there debris in the blower cage or housing? (Noisy furnace?)
  9. Are return air grills blocked or covered?
  10. Turn off the power for 5 minutes, then switch on again to rest
  11. Check the owner’s manual
