Before calling for service please check the following items which are not covered by your warranty.

1. | Check to make sure furnace venting outside has no obstructions blocking openings, including but not limited to snow & ice |
2. | Check and record the flashing light code. |
3. | Is the power on? ie. breaker, main switch. |
4. | Is the bottom door of the furnace secure? |
5. | Is the filter clean? |
6. | Are fuses and safety switches okay? (Refer to manual) |
7. | Is the thermostat set at the desired temperature? |
8. | Are the gas valve(s) on? |
9. | Is there debris in the blower cage or housing? (Noisy furnace?) |
10. | Are return air grills blocked or covered? |
11. | Turn off the power for 5 minutes, then switch on again to rest. |
12. | Check the owner’s manual. |
Your Furnace Requires Routine Servicing.
Furnaces require routine maintenance to run efficiently and safely. This includes clean filters; regularly check the status off your furnace filter and change every 1-3 months or when dirty.
Every home should receive a powervac duct cleaning service from a reputable furnace cleaning company once per year to ensure the ductwork and heat register outlets are clean of dust and debris; this will help your furnace system run clean. Your furnace system should be inspected annually please schedule regular maintenance
